- 3. Februar: Nobody's Home von Clint Black wird die erste Nummer-Eins-Single, die sich drei Wochen auf der Position hält, seit Randy Travis’ Song Forever, Ever and Ever, Amen
- 7. April: Randy Travis bleibt mit Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart vier Wochen auf Platz 1, der letzte Song, der so lange in den Charts blieb, war Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys von Waylon Jennings und Willie Nelson (1978)
