Kategorie Diskussion:Ombudsmann

Die Löschung der Kategorie „Kategorie:Ombudsmann“ wurde ab dem 21. Januar 2020 diskutiert und abgelehnt. Für einen erneuten Löschantrag müssen gemäß den Löschregeln neue Argumente vorgebracht werden.

Verschiebung zu 'Kategorie:Ombudsleute'?

Entschuldigung für Englisch hier benützen; ich lese Deutsch ziemlich unbehindert, aber kann mich so nur teilweise und mit größeren Schwierichkeiten grammatisch richtig ausdrücken; was hier zu beweißen war.
I note that (variants of) the title Ombudsmann in the German language sources seems to be reserved for men. On the other hand, e. g. Susanne Wiesinger and Barbara Egger-Jenzer are called Ombudsfrauen. I moreover find the common term Ombudsleute used for office holders of both sexes, not only in Wikipedia discussions, but also in sources (as e. g. in https://wien.orf.at/v2/news/stories/2590014/, where it is stated that

Bittner versprach, mit der Wiener Patientenanwaltschaft zusammenzuarbeiten - genauso wie mit anderen Ombudsleuten etwa in den Spitälern.)

Now, I don't know very much about the nuances in present day German. However, from the little I've seen, I get the impression that the sex neutral Ombudsleute might be fairly widespread. This makes me wonder if a move of this category name to Kategorie:Ombudsleute (and correspondingly for the subcategories) would be motivated. On the other hand, Kategorie:Ombudsmann and recently several subcategories were created using the traditional (male) form. I particularly would like to ask the creators @WikiBenutzer, GT1976: Did you consider the name forms on -leute as alternatives; and, if so, why did you prefer the forms on -mann? Do you still prefer the -mann forms; or do you think that it would be reasonable to suggest to move these category names?

I'm really rather unsure about all this, since I find my old school-German rather insufficient for understanding the nuances here. Thus, for my part, this is not an actual suggestion, but just a question whether or not a suggestion to move the names is reasonable or ridiculous. Es gibt hier grundsätzlich keine Aufteilung der Personenkategorien nach Geschlechter, siehe Kategorie:Lehrer oder Kategorie:Sportler. Ich habe hier nichts dagegen, wenn man diesen Zweig neutraler auf -leute ändert. Beste Grüße: --GT1976 (Diskussion) 07:47, 27. Jul. 2020 (CEST)

Ombudsleute geht leider nicht, da Objektkategorien im Singular stehen müssen - gibt es auch eine Bezeichnung im Singular, die in Frage kommt, z.B. Ombudsperson o.ä.? Grüße --Didionline (Diskussion) 09:25, 27. Jul. 2020 (CEST)
