Hello! My name is Chanwoo Park, a stff at Literature Translation Institute of Korea. I was informed by the south Korean author Kim Hyesoon that her name is wrongly written on German Wikipedia page. I just created the her page under the name "Kim Hyesoon" with the same content of this page--"Kim Hye-soon." Therefore please remove this page in order to prevent misunderstanding. Thanks in advance.
- I brought your request to our Korea portal: The hyphen version is correct according to the naming conventions in German Wikipedia, to Korean Times or to Yonhab News. NNW 21:03, 2. Sep. 2013 (CEST)
- Indeed the use of hypen is correct by the standard. However, the problem is that the author herself doesn't write her name that way. Ms. Kim has published servaral books in many other languages and consistenly used her name as "Kim Hyesoon." Therefore, I request you to change the pagename from Kim Hye-soon to Kim Hyesoon. Thanks.
- As I am not able to speak Korean and cannot decide if it is okay to move this article to Kim Hyesoon I would suggest you discuss this at Portal Diskussion:Korea#Schreibweise von Kim Hye-soon. There you will find people with more knowledge. Perhaps it has to be Kim Hye-soon following the common transliteration rules but we can add that she prefers Kim Hyesoon. NNW 11:04, 3.
