Thanks!

Didn't know there were fourth and fifth symphonies (I gather that the Cleveland Orch. premiered the third op. 60 in C minor in four movements, though, in 1931 under the composer's direction.) Ah, ok- symphony no. 2 op. 42, no. 3 op. 60, no. 4 op. 78, symphony no. 5, opus 99 - all but no. 1 apparently listed in the Library of Congress catalog, nos. 4 and 5 as bound manuscript cases if I understand the listing. (A friend of mine and I have been interested in this composer for some time :) ) (A query to someone at LoC received the reply that at least some sorts of use of information from the catalog were not copyright violations, these included I gather, so I gather these worklists without unease.) Also two violin concertos (op. 77 in F minor and op. 86 in G major) in their stacks by him... Cornell's University library, where I'm at, has one or two of those string quartets - the more-often-mentioned ones I think, nos. 6 and 8 - and the sonatas for oboe and for violin, so my interest is not entirely in the air and without foundation. :) Eric 08:51, 26.
