Willkommen / Welcome Bearbeiten

Hello and welcome! It appears that you either do not understand the German language, or you understand it only at a basic level. This is a welcome message to introduce you to the German Wikipedia, providing you with links to the most important places and departments you may wish to consult.

  • The embassy is perhaps the first place to go. There you can ask questions and get in touch with people who can translate your requests.
  • The German equivalent of the “village pump” is Questions about Wikipedia which can be used to ask questions and discuss matters of all kinds about Wikipedia. Feel free to ask questions in your preferred language, but questions in English will probably get the quicker responses than those asked in less-common languages.
  • Frequently-made requests: Request to usurp existing user accountsRequest a Bot flag.
  • The multilingual Adopt-a-user program also welcomes your participation.
  • For your user page: You might want to create your user page and put some babel boxes on it, therefore everyone could know what languages you speak. For example: “{{Babel|en|de-0}}” shows that you are a native English speaker, but do not understand German at all.

Want to help? The simplest thing you could do is to improve this template (translate, fix errors, etc.), to help more contributors who do not speak German.

Once again, welcome! -- --Xneb20 DiskBeiträge 13:25, 2. Dez. 2016 (CET)Beantworten

Archäologisches Museum Istanbul Bearbeiten

Hello HakanIST, you removed the link to the museum-website from the this article and put it on meta-blacklist. I can't see what is spam on that site, could you explain please? Regards --Kpisimon (Diskussion) 12:39, 1. Jul. 2023 (CEST)Beantworten

I was wondering about the blacklisting [1] as well, since the link is used quite a lot across many wikis [2] --Johannnes89 (Diskussion) 14:38, 1. Jul. 2023 (CEST)Beantworten
Hello @Kpisimon:, also @Johannnes89:
Thank you for your inquiry. Blacklisted website has been added by several different IP users across various Wikis to corresponding historical locations as though it were the official site. However, it is not an official site nor run by the relevant administration. The official website is muze.gov.tr.
Also, the designs of the two websites are strangely similar, however, the official site, muze.gov.tr, does not have a commercial intent, such as selling tour packages, unlike muze.gen.tr.
I hope this explanation clarifies your concerns. Please feel free to reach out, if there are additional concerns.-HakanIST (Diskussion) 14:50, 1. Jul. 2023 (CEST)Beantworten
Thanks for your answer, I now wrote the new website in the article. --Kpisimon (Diskussion) 16:01, 1. Jul. 2023 (CEST)Beantworten
