Richard Clothier

Richard Clothier (* 1966 in Hertfordshire, England)[1] ist ein britischer Theater- und Filmschauspieler.
Leben Bearbeiten
Clothier wurde 1966 in der englischen Grafschaft Hertfordshire geboren.[1] Als Theaterdarsteller wirkte er in mehreren Stücken unter der Regie von Edward Hall mit.[2][3] In End of the Night übernahm er die historische Rolle des Heinrich Himmler. Im Stück The Wip von Regisseurin Kimberley Sykes übernahm er die Hauptrolle des Alexander Boyd.[4] Ab Mitte der 1990er Jahre trat er als Episodendarsteller in verschiedenen Fernsehserien in Erscheinung. 2016 hatte er eine Nebenrolle im Blockbuster Phantastische Tierwesen und wo sie zu finden sind inne. 2019 stellte er in der Fernsehserie Pennyworth in insgesamt neun Episoden die Rolle des Premierministers dar. 2020 spielte er in der Fernsehserie Der junge Wallander die Rolle des Rickard Lundgren. 2022 wirkte er in der zweiten Staffel des Netflix Original Warrior Nun in sieben Episoden in der Rolle des Cardinal William Foster mit.
