FemNetz is an open transnational network of German-speaking Wikipedians and associated groups united by intersectional feminist concerns and the desire for networking and mutual support.
This is a short description of FemNetz provided for non-German speakers.

- 2021 Start of annual FemNetz meetings (first meetings online), start of annual FemNetz@WikiCon
- 2023 First FemNetz meeting in presence, in Stuttgart (35 participants), start of re-definition of organizational structure
- 2024 Annual FemNetz meeting renamed to FemNetzCon, intermediate structure defined
Organizational structure

- Individual members
- Associated groups which exist autonomously and independently of FemNetz
Members cooperate in temporary or permanent project teams which can be started by anyone anytime.

- Annual conference FemNetzCon
FemNetzCon is the annual meeting of the network. FemNetz members and interested parties meet on a weekend at various locations in Germany to exchange ideas and information, strengthen the network, support each other with projects and find solutions to problems together. FemNetzCon is mainly aimed at users who already have experience in Wikipedia or its sister projects, but newcomers are also very welcome.
At FemNetzCon, decisions are made on the further development of the network. This includes, for example, new structures for the network. - Contributions to annual German-language meet-up WikiCon
