Several trailers were built by the factory using a modified chassis and the rear portion of the station wagon body, wood and fiberglass. Several panel trucks were built by closing off the rear window of the station wagon. The chassis was designed for the use of all Chevette componants to simplify assembly. The chassis was designed to accept the S10 V6 as a bolt in substitute for the Chevette four cylinder. Two factory prototypes of scaled down 32 Ford roadster car bodies to fit this chassis and fiberglass floor pan were built mid production. One was assembled as a promotional driver. Early production side trim used only one horizontal wood trim piece. Later the vertical trim piece was added.
