Virtually every source for the 1927 WSC writes the name of #5 as Hugo Hörtnagel. That is not correct, however. Correct spelling is Hörtnagl. This was confirmed to me in an E-mail I received from his grandson, Summer 2011. Sadly, due to Computer problems, I have lost all E-mails from that period. Hugo Hörtnagl, 07.01.1904 - 24.10.1983, in addition to being a good skier, was also an accomlished mountain climber. His most notable feat was probably being part of the first team reaching the summit of Illampu, Bolivia, 07,06.1928. RolvO (Diskussion) 20:58, 22. Feb. 2018 (CET)
