Hallo
Mit ist aufgefallen, dass im Artikel, Kapitel Atomtests, 2ter Absatz, der Test am 7. September 1995 stattfand. Gemäss dem OKLAHOMA GEOLOGICAL SURVEY OBSERVATORY CATALOG OF NUCLEAR EXPLOSIONS, http://www.okgeosurvey1.gov/level2/nuke.cat.html erfolgte der Test am 5. September 1995.
Als unerfahrener möchte ich diese Korrektur nicht selber anbringen. Richte vermutlich mehr Schaden denn Nutzen an :-)

Mururoa ist nicht Osnaburgh Bearbeiten
Osnaburgh (oder deutsch: Osnabrück) ist der alte Name für Mehetia. Samuel Wallis entdeckte die Insel Mehetia am 18. Juni 1767 und nannte sie „Osnaburgh“, nach Friedrich August, Herzog von York und Albany, dem zweiten Sohn von König Georg III. und letzten Fürstbischof des Hochstiftes Osnabrück (Ref: John Hawkesworth: An Account of the Voyages undertaken by the order of His Present Majesty for making Discoveries in the Southern Hemisphere, and successively performed by Commodore Byron, Captain Wallis, Captain Carteret and Captain Cook, in the Dolphin, the Swallow, and the Endeavour, London 1773, S. 172–173). Allerdings identifiziert Andrew Sharp (Ref: Andrew Sharp: The Discovery of the Pacific Islands. Greenwood Press, Westport (CT) 1960, S. 111) die Insel Tematangi mit „Osnaburgh´s Island“. Zitat: “For the Bishop of Osnaburgh´s Island we must look for a small, low, flat island close enough to the Duke of Glouchester Islands to conform with a sailing time of a day as compared with 9 days from Pitcairn, and a latitude of about 22° S. Only Tematangi does this.” Wie auch immer, ob Mehetia oder Tematangi, Mururoa ist es jedenfalls nicht! --Tuamotu12 (Diskussion) 11:32, 25. Sep. 2020 (CEST)
Fläche Bearbeiten
Wenn die Lagunenfläche nur 148 km² beträgt, dann kann das Atoll nicht 300 km² groß sein, wie in der Einleitung geschrieben. Ich korrigiere das mal. --Hegeophilast (Diskussion) 19:40, 3. Sep. 2023 (CEST)
