Charlotte Salomon was student at the School of Arts of Charlottenburg between 1935 and 1937, although she was a Jew.
Bartning seems to have supported her admission and (as much as possible) her work, in spite of the nazi pressure. (cf. David Foenkinos, Charlotte).
