Dana Sajdi in Historians of the Ottoman Empire (April 2007): Believed to have been lost, a uniqe manuscript of I.B.'s original has been recently located.
Dazu folgende Fußnote: Ibn Budayr, Hawadit..., Chester Beatty Library, Dublin, no.3551/2. There is no evidence to confirm the statement of the distinguished cataoguer that the manuscript is the autograph. See Arthur Arberry, The Chester Beatty Library: A Handlist of the Arabic Manuscripts, 8 vols. (Dublin, 1958).
