The author forgets to tell whether why the Hungarian "nationalists" did not like Hentzi? Please read the history, or see the English version on Wiki.

Hentzi was a classic terrosist-chief, a real war criminal. Hungarian leader Görgey wrote him in his letter, that Hungarian Army would not attack from Pest, so if Hentzi will bombard the defenceless city, the Kaiserliche guard of Buda couldn't get mercy. Nevertheless he bombarded Pest during the whole period of siege. Ther died many civils and more then 40 civil castles were destroyed.
