EN 3 nennt ein PDF; dieses nennt auf S. 1 einige Details.
Laut auf S. 2 )("Since 2016, acquisition of glaciological data in Switzerland is run by the programme Glacier Monitoring in Switzerland (GLAMOS). GLAMOS is currently under the auspices of the Cryospheric Commission of the Swiss Academy of Sciences (CC/SCNAT) and is jointly operated by the Laboratory of Hydraulics, Hydrology and Glaciology at ETH Zürich (VAW/ETHZ), the Department of Geosciences of the University of Fribourg, and the Department of Geography of the University of Zurich.")
Das heißt aber nicht zwangsläufig, dass GLAMOS 2016 gegründet wurde.

- [1] 1880 wurde als eine der ersten Institutionen für Gletschermessungen das schweizerische Gletschermessnetz ins Leben gerufen. Wie bereits im ersten Satz des Artikels steht ist GLAMOS nur das englischsprachige Mischkurzwort für schweizerisches Gletschermessnetz. Also tatsächlich hat im 20. Jahrhundert niemand GLAMOS gesagt, sondern schweizerisches Gletschermessnetz. Ist aber das gleiche. --Kabelschmidt (Diskussion) 19:43, 11. Aug. 2022 (CEST)
