Sorry, I can write in German but not easily. According to the French Wikipédia and according to the obituary published in the "Revue de Linguistique Romane" (2018, p.632-35), the first thèse was directed by Wagner (p. 631) and the "thèse d'Etat" by Matoré (p. 632). --ReginaManresa (Diskussion) 13:36, 21.
