Hallo @Charles01: the Ambassador was not sold under the Vanden Plas bagde; it Always was sold as Austin. But the Austin Ambassador for sure was available in Vanden Plas trim. I just added two weblinks which should verify that. Hope that this is convincing… I have never seen an Austin Ambassador in real life but I'd like to. They seem to be very Special cars… Regards Matthias.--
