Danke.

We should create a page (in German) with all the non-classical musical scales of black metal (it's unfair to have only a page for common scales)

Bearbeiten

(has three scale-shifts [same intervals, overall shifted])

  • do, re#, mi, sol, sol#, si
  • do, do#, mi, fa, sol#, la
  • do#, re, fa, fa# la, la#

(semitonally/fret steps: 0, +1, +3, +1, +3, +1, +3)

(si = ti, do = C)

It is chordable. A chordable scale is a musical scale which has chords. All classical scales are chordable, but not all non-classical (some Greek buzuki scales are perfect for solos, but nonchordable/unchordable; if you play many notes in tandem on the scale the result is junk (on some nonchordable nonclassical scales). For nonclassical musical scales it is very important to mention if they are chordable or not! For example in nonchordable scales, usually the rhythm instrument uses classical chords of different scales. The Mystic Arabian nonclassical tonal scale [with its three variants] (it's not atonal, it simply has nonclassical combination of intervals) is chordable. This means you have to play chords on scale. One way to do that is to play a classical chord, but then shift backwards or forwards only the notes that don't exist. This scale has only 6 notes. It's easier to tune your guitar differently, even select different nonstandard strings. If you have a standard guitar, you still can play anything, but a bit harder (many people then play simpler chords).

mood: mysterious

Evil Shaolin (it has two modes/variants)

  • do, re, re#, fa, fa#, sol#, la, si
  • do#, re, mi, fa, sol, sol#, la#, si

(semitonally/fret steps: 0, +1, +2, +1, +2, +1, +2, +1, +2)

It is chordable. You can play chords using only its notes. It doesn't sound junk.

mood: soft horror (not absolute disharmony; then you should play chromatically and atonally)

Asmodeus try very hard to promote dark nonclassical ways of composition; Wikipedia is biased because classical and common scales are well recorded; but educated nonclassical musicians who conscientiously work hard, are rejected or not mentioned

They use the common European musical system. Not some weird logarithmic. So these scales aren't the utmost extreme and rare. (nicht signierter Beitrag von 2A02:587:4105:E249:65B6:26C2:43E8:B9E8 (Diskussion) 04:59, 6. Apr. 2020 (CEST))Beantworten
