This article currently gives the outflow as Waltry Burn → Glazert Water → Kelvin ... that seems most unlikely. Referring to the OpenTopoMap - https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=16.0&lat=55.96509&lon=-4.13979&layers=168&b=15&o=0&marker=55.948664,-4.138609 - the lake is below the 60 metre contour line and Waltry Burn flows past the lake down through the 80, 70 and 60 metre contour lines ... in short, the lake outflow would have to go uphill to reach Waltry Burn.

Although it is not clear, it seems much more probable that the lake outflows south - https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=16.0&lat=55.96312&lon=-4.13780&layers=168&b=15&o=100&marker=55.963064,-4.135801 - through Lochmill and then into the unnamed stream which winds southwards to the Kelvin. --Tagishsimon (Diskussion) 03:54, 5.
