The Fürstabtei Prüm was more than just a pretty monastery building in the town of Prüm, it was also a Reichsstand and a large Territorium of the Reich, just like the Electorate of Mainz or the Bishopric of Worms, etc.
Weeks ago I posted a section of an 18th century map showing the territory of Fürstabtei Prüm, but almost immediately some idiot deleted it for I don't know what silly reason.
