Pengiran Anak Sarah Bearbeiten

Pengiran Anak Sarah is converted back to Anak Sarah, as Pengiran is kind of a title ("Member of the royal family") and German Wiki does not use "titles" (e.g. King, Prince, Pengiran, Yang Di-Pertuan) for article names. --Chtrede 09:30, 11. Jun. 2011 (CEST)Beantworten

Thanks for notifying me. In that case you should remove "Anak" too, because the title is actually "Pengiran Anak" ("Anak" is part of the title) and "Anak Sarah" doesn't mean anything. I recommend converting the page to Sarah Salleh (birth name)/Sarah von Brunei, just like Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby, Máxima Zorreguieta, Letizia von Spanien, etc. - Yk Yk Yk 17:45, 11. It is the same for all those names, e.g. Anak Saleha. According to the sources we used e.g. here Bruneiische Königsfamilie the female member of the royal family gets the "title" Pengiran. --Chtrede 18:46, 11. Jun. 2011 (CEST) P.S. You also get e.g. Pengiran Temanggong etc. See [1] --Chtrede 18:48, 11. Jun. 2011 (CEST). If you change it, you must change all the entries accordingly, and for that you will need to speak/write German (I suppose). --Chtrede 18:49, 11. Jun. 2011 (CEST)Beantworten
It's the same for all. "Pengiran Temenggong" is the title, whatever comes afterwards is the name. And it's incorrect that only female members of the royal family are titled "Pengiran" (look at Mohammed Bolkiah). Anyway, I'm just notifying you of a factual error. I'm not capable of making all the changes here since I don't speak German. Danke for taking the time to explain. - Yk Yk Yk 18:59, 11. Jun. 2011 (CEST)Beantworten
Ok, once I find the time I will do the changes. --Chtrede 19:11, 11. Jun. 2011 (CEST)Beantworten
I am quickly changing it. What was the birth name of the current queen, which is now here at Anak Saleha? --Chtrede 19:17, 11. Jun. 2011 (CEST)Beantworten
English Wikipedia says Saleha Mohamed Alam (unreferenced), which agrees with this blog and this site. - Yk Yk Yk 19:23, 11. Jun. 2011 (CEST)Beantworten
