Schön, daß Du zu uns gefunden hast. Ich sehen, daß Du in Artikel Sri Lanka einiges ergänzt hast. Leider ist Dein Deutsch nicht so gut, daß völlig klar ist was Du ausdrücken möchtest (dann hätte ich es einfach nur korrigiert). Gerne helfe ich Dir Deine Ergänzungen in eine der Wikipedia entsprechende Sprache zu bringen. Kannst Du mir erklären (auf Deutsch oder Englisch), was Du mit den Änderungen [1] ausdrücken willst? Thanks, I am at Kerala University and looking at various aspects including the Ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka. Of course this is a very tricky subject as the LTTE and the SL government have very different things to say. Looking at the Wikipedia in English, French and German I see that the German Wiki article is very poor and very politically uneven. So, I tried to correct it. Unfortunately my German is not good enough, as you have noted. So may be I should leave the German Wiki alone (came to it mainly to see if it would be a source of information, but it says things without citing sources!). Anyway, my intention was to initiate some changes and mainly bring the attention of people like you that the article should reflect the neutral academic position and not the Sinhalese or Tamil point of view. There are good neutral books by British Historians on the rise of racism in Sri Lanka (e.g, Jane Russell, that I referred to), that I am using for my research. Anyway, I hope people would read this discussion and try to be neutral, instead of taking a pro-LTTE Tamil or pro-Sinhala point of view.
