He created one of the worldwide most-downloaded short videos: Dying for whom or for what?

Schuermann was writing for the PC Trade Press since 1982. In 1984 he got the 1st Macintosh PC as a private owner in Germany. He wrote a book on this machine (110 V, 128 KB RAM, 400 KB floppy, Imagewriter I). It was printed as facsimile ("Skriptum", script; VIEWEG-Verlag, 1984, ISBN 3-528-04325-1). Later he began to produce features for a TV station and shared TV series.

Since Windows 95 came up he started his switching from MAC OS to Microsoft Windows. At present, after using Windows XP Home and Windows XP professional for all purposes (both with SP2 and SP3) and switching to VISTA Professional for a long time, he is using Windows 7 Ultimate on all notebooks and desktops. He is anymore testing applications like MAGIX Video Deluxe and Video Pro X that he mostly uses for video editing. In addition he is a fan of the revolutionary LoiLoScope video editing software. His hardware is based on i3-2310M and i7-2600k processors.

When retiring (from directly writing articles for the trade press) he started an own video production ('Video Fun Factory' and some other labels). He was still a BrainWARe partner. Now also this partnership has ended and made him a totally "free man"... (But busy all days!)

His motto is: Don't look for the days of your life but for the life in your days.
