Parse issue

Dear German Wikipedia,

This message is using templates and parameters which causes a parse failure when this message is interpreted as plain text. Considering this is uses as the text content of the HTML document <title> tag (and as such should not contain styling) it should not be parsed as wikitext. For legacy reasons this is parsed as wikitext but tools such as VisualEditor that interpet these kinds of messages as plain text fail by showing the plain text.

Though this construction with Vorlage:“ is a rather creative way to spare maintenance with different translations, it doesn't need sub pages like MediaWiki:Editing/de-ch because for de-ch it will fallback to this one and the quote mark template will pick the right symbol.

However I won't delete them in this case because in this case the message mustn't use templates. As such I've modified the pages MediaWiki:Editing/de, MediaWiki:Editing/de-at, MediaWiki:Editing/de-formal and MediaWiki:Editing/de-ch accordingly. Krinkle (Diskussion) 06:01, 28. Jun. 2013 (CEST)

In my opinion, the VisualEditor should act the same way than Core, but okay.

For test reason I have deleted de-formal message (see this link for the moment), but it does not show the fallback from the local page MediaWiki:Editing:

It shows the fallback from MessagesDe.php, because MessagesDe_formal.php does not contains that key, which is:

The LivePreview feature also requires the interface message be without complex parser functions, this is not specific to VisualEditor.
