Forgive my writing in English, but I do not speak German well enough. I believe the statement that Beecham introduced Die Meistersinger to England is not correct. The first British production was at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London on 30 May 1882, only three years after Beecham's birth. 62.208.235.62 15:51, 23. Jun 2006 (CEST)
