Kakamega: Namensherkunft Hat jemand Quellen für die Behauptung die Übersetzung sei "Ort des Todes"? Im englischen Wiki ist nichts vermerkt und die Benennung nach einem einheimischen Vogel erscheint mir sinniger.

So ich habe nachgefragt: [14:34] : It has to do with when the INDIANS first came to Kakamega. [14:34] : and the place of death is a village called SHIMALA VANDU: [14:34] : that is a Luhya word that means to finish peole. [14:34] : so now u have the real meaning of the two places .
