Géraldine Olivier grew up in Marly near Fribourg and sang in choirs as a child. After school she trained as a secretary. Thus they came to Japan in the local news. Back in Switzerland, she was active in the parliament building in Berne.
In July 1986 she had at the World Expo in Vancouver, her first stage appearance. In 1992, she wanted to participate in the Euro Vision Song Contest 1992nd Your title Soleil, soleil won the preliminary round Swiss, but was subsequently disqualified.
In the following years she worked with Rudi Margreiter (Duo Vreni and Rudi) together. He wrote it for the track Take your time once again, with whom she finished the Grand Prix der Volksmusik 1995 number one. The record went gold in Switzerland and Austria.
