en:Confessor of the Faith scheint nicht ganz synonym mit "Bekenner" zu sein, denn: "The title Confessor, the short form of Confessor of the Faith, is a title given by the Christian Church to a type of saint." Der hiesige Artikel schließt anders als der englische auch die protestantische Verwendung des Begriffs ein. --Neitram ✉ 13:29, 23. Okt. 2018 (CEST)
