Liddell and Scott Bearbeiten
Liddell and Scott were generous enough to cite Passow as the forerunner on which their lexicon was based, but there is a world of difference, and fairly important difference at that, between the two works. If I want to look up a word in the author cited, I use LSJ. Passow would tell me virtually nothing, beyond the name of the author. This is not to minimize his work, simply to put it in context -- Pamour 22:46, 25. Sep. 2011 (CEST)
