Schnelllöschung von ישראל / Speedy deletion of ישראל

Hallo דניאל ב, möglicherweise ist dir aufgefallen, daß deine von dir angelegte Weiterleitung ישראל gelöscht wurde. Ich hatte einen Schnelllöschantrag darauf gestellt, der dann auch ausgeführt wurde. Da der Grund dafür aus dem Löschlogbuch nicht ersichtlich ist und de-WP nicht dein Heimatwiki ist, möchte ich dich darauf hinweisen, daß in de-WP Weiterleitungen in fremden Sprachen nur in Ausnahmefällen, in fremden Schriften jedoch grundsätzlich nicht erwünscht sind. Hi דניאל ב, you may have noticed that the redirect ישראל, which was created by you, was deleted. I asked for „speedy deletion“^(german) and it was executed. Because the reason is not visible in the deletion log and de-WP is not your home wiki, I want to point out that in de-WP redirects in foreign languages are accepted only in few cases, but—as a matter of principle—are generally not desired in foreign writing systems. I created the redirect since I saw that redirect מדינת ישראל exists. ישראל is the real name of the country, it means "Israel". מדינת ישראל means "country of Israel". Daniel B 19:37, 3. Jun. 2009 (CEST)

That's odd. מדינת ישראל exists since 2007, and it was never deleted. Perhaps I was wrong regarding redirects in foreign writing systems; or nobody noticed מדינת ישראל. Hi Daniel, I did some research now.
When I saw ישראל at the end of May, I had the impression that redirects in foreign alphabets are not desired in de-WP. I looked around a few minutes and what I found seemed to corroborate this. Well, I was wrong: Today I found Wikipedia:Meinungsbilder/Originalschreibungen, a kind of a voting, made in 2006 regarding redirects in foreign alphabets. A slim majority supported this redirects. Therefore, I asked User:Bücherwürmlein, who deleted ישראל, if he could recreate it. You can found the topic here. He speaks English too, so please feel free to leave a comment there, if you want.
