Invisible text

The background is transparent, but the text is black. Please don’t do that.
So in browsers with dark mode (like when using Dark Reader in Firefox), which is more and more common, the text becomes pretty much invisible.
Remember that all styling is merely a suggestion, and browsers have no obligation to use any of it (nor load any external files either).
It is recommended, to put a subtle white outer glow around the text, that’s just intense enough to cause a contrast that makes it readable. (Try an exponential fall-off curve from 100% to 0%.) As that imitates the eye/brain’s natural contrast enhancement, and hence becomes almost invisble unless one looks for it. … Alternatively, of course on can just add a background color, or change the text to a medium brightness.
