English: Frontul Popular ("The Popular Front"), unsigned propaganda cartoon originally carried in the Romanian leftist newspaper Cuvântul Liber of 1935 (editor: Tudor Teodorescu-Braniște); republished without mention of copyright in Era Socialistă of June 1973. Showing a worker, intellectual and peasant trampling on a swastika-bearing snake; the implicit reference is an alliance between the socialists (including legal wings of the Romanian Communist Party) and the National Peasantists.
