"เครื่องหมายราชการของโรงเรียนนายเรือ เป็นรูปสมอสามตัวคล้องด้วยห่วงสมอ ซ้อนทับในวงจักร เบื้องล่างมีคำว่า "โรงเรียนนายเรือ" (ไม่จำกัดสีและขนาด)"

ภาพนี้มีฐานะเป็นเครื่องหมายราชการ กำหนดอยู่ในประกาศสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เรื่อง กำหนดภาพเครื่องหมายราชการ ตามพระราชบัญญัติเครื่องหมายราชการ พุทธศักราช 2482 (ฉบับที่ 89) ลงวันที่ 26 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2527 ตีพิมพ์ในราชกิจจานุเบกษา เล่มที่ 101 ฉบับพิเศษ ตอนที่ 195 วันที่ 28 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2527 หน้า 42
