Beschreibung

The heart of the monster, a place near East Kamiah, Nez Perce County, Idaho, USA. This hill is sacred to the Nez Percé people, as it is associated with their creation myth. The hill symbolizes the heart of the monster that had to be slain by the trickster Coyote, before people could come to life and live safely on earth. The site is part of Nez Perce National Historical Park.
