English: This is a 0-4-2 T Weidknecht locomotive, commissioned in November 1897 (date of declaration of commissioning of the boiler to the services of the prefecture of Seine-et-Marne) by Constant Desforges, operator of the millstone quarries in Orgenoy (but also farmer and deputy). The metre-gauge railway line connected these quarries to the port on the Seine at Ponthierry, it is possible that this locomotive is second-hand, because the company had two machines (including a Corpet) and it carries the N° 5. How to recognise a 0-4-2T Weidknecht? Top rounded water tanks and double bar slide connecting rod
