Oktober 1990 ist nur noch die Deutsche Bundespost bzw. die Deutsche Post World Net AG Rechtsnachfolgerin. Die Briefmarken sind daher ebenfalls nach § 5 Abs. 1 UrhG ein amtliches Werk. Nach dem deutschen Urhebergesetz ist dies somit gemeinfrei.
